Brave Frontier RPG: A Review

When you're stuck in an island with a non-gaming laptop, where do you turn to for your gaming needs? Your smartphone!

That's exactly what happened to me for the past 4 days. I brought the smaller laptop, thus cannot handle my usual online games. Thus I downloaded Brave Frontier RPG on my phone.

Why? Simply because it's just my style: a turn-based RPG that is set in a fantasy world - in this game, the Grand Gaia - where everyone is depending on you to save them.

But I got so hooked to it that I figured I should share it with everyone.

Journey To The West Server Migration

To decrease the lag in their game Journey to the West, Cubizone has recently issued a statement announcing a server migration.

Attention Warriors,

In giving you the best gaming experience there is, our main aim is to stabilize all gamers' connectivity for smooth gameplay. Which is why the management decided to migrate our server on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 starting at 9am (GMT+8). Server migration will take an estimated working time of 7 hours. During this process, players won't be able to access their Journey to the West Accounts.

Furthermore, we would like to inform everyone that our upcoming Monday regular server maintenance will be cancelled to give way of the transition.

Please log out your account before the given time to avoid any inconveniences.

Softnyx, Co., Ltd. finally launched a teaser site (http://ntd.softnyx.net/) for its latest anticipated title Project NTD on Jan 8^th 2015, which is under development.

Project NTD is a full 3D MMORPG. Softnyx is planning to unveil the development process and relevant contents of Project NTD via this new teaser site. We could preview the illustration of part of characters and monsters in Project NTD.

Cabal 2 Recruits Players for Open Beta

Many players have participated in the Focus Group Testing for Cabal 2, stating how they were feeling about the game. The team of developers got some pretty great feedback from the FGT.

When visiting the CABAL II official English website, it is now recruiting players and allowing players to sign up Beta Test.


Meanwhile, the CABAL II development team released a wave of concept arts, showing details on dresses, gears, heads of CABAL II characters. Take a peek at them.

At first glance, Critter Camp seems to be just another one of those games, going on a series of quests to level up and what not. What sets it apart however, is how you build up your critters’ stats.

Filipino Company Zeenoh Games To Release Horror Game on Steam

Shortly before Christmas, Philippines-based game development studio Zeenoh Games put its upcoming horror game, Nightfall, up on Steam Greenlight. There was an animated trailer and a single screenshot, and no more.

While the game’s Steam Greenlight page is now heavily populated with concept art, event photos, and an additional gameplay trailer, we still don’t know much about Nightfall apart from the fact that it features a female journalist as its main character and that it’ll be a first-person game.
