It was just a couple of weeks ago when I was talking to my aunt in the US about the lack of geek merchandise stores here in the Philippines while those that do sell the stuff are prone to sell them like they're gold: totally expensive. I kept telling her how I wish some kind geek genius would come up with something to help bring affordable items to the delight of every fandom here in the country.

Lo and behold, Abubot.ph made my dream come true.

Abubot.ph is a website that caters to the merchandise needs of every geek at a very affordable and reasonable price with the convenience of online shopping. The brainchild of Mr. Mon Macutay (AKA GM Tristan), former marketing director of Level Up! Philippines and CEO of Big Ideas Social Media Inc, the site is indeed a blessing to the Filipino geek because they deliver the items anywhere in the country.

As an added bonus, they are also open to providing an avenue for budding entrepreneurs who want to sell their items via consignment. The items would not just be posted on the site - the Abubot.ph team would also do the inventory, payment solutions and shipping.

Although still in its beta phase, they are already offering several items ranging from shirts to geek novelty. For payment methods, they accept Paypal, Credit Card, Money Transfer and Bank Deposits. Less hassle, more geekery!
