After collecting players’ comments about whether archer units can use daggers on battlefield in Einherjar – The Viking’s Blood, the Japanese game’s developer Appirits has decided to realize this long-awaited feature on 3 October 2012 (SGT or GMT+8).
However, only Hawkeye units can have this unique ability because these are elite warriors. The new weapon skill will certainly give Hawkeye units a big advantage in battles, especially when fighting against enemies with Bow Avoid skills. Flexibly interchanging bow and melee weapon will help players gain victory more easily. Therefore, Appirits does believe all players will welcome this useful update.
In addition to the dagger update, they also reactivate the old in-game guild chat tab and call it “Guild News” to help guild members be updated of their internal news easily. But this time only guild masters can use it to make in-guild announcements and guild members may use the sidebar chat to communicate as usual.
