RF Online PH Closes, Offers Migration to Cabal and Ran Online

It is with deep grief that earlier this afternoon, Level Up Games announced that RF Online PH will permanently close down its server on June 25, 2013.


Below is LU's official statement regarding the said server closure:

Dear Citizens of Novus,

It is with great sadness that we inform everyone that we will discontinue operations of RF Online in the Philippines on June 25, 2013.

For seven years the war among Cora, Accretia and Bellato has ignited not just the competitive spirit of Novus’ warriors, but also their passion, loyalty and brotherhood – which made RF Online’s community truly one of a kind. We are honored to have served you and offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us in this incredible journey.

While the war is about to end in the land of Novus, there are many other realms in need of your strength and skills. As such, we offer a welcome package for those who would like to begin their adventure in the sci-fi MMORPG, Cabal Online.

Players could also continue their journey in RAN ONLINE, the no. 1 campus-themed MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) in the Philippines.

Please take the time to read the brief guide below to answer your questions about your remaining Galactic Credits, customer support, and the Cabal Online or Ran Online Welcome Package.

Once again, thank you very much for being part of our community. Although this marks the end of a great chapter in your online exploits, we hope to continue sharing more adventures with you through our other games.

With this, LU offered RF's now orphaned players to migrate to either Cabal or Ran Online, two of LU's acquisitions from the now defunct E-Games stable.

Below are the FAQs, Customer Support, and Migration Packages:

RF PHILIPPINES CLOSURE IMPORTANT INFORMATION

I.                    What happens to my unused Galactic Credits?

a.       Effective June 28, 2013 all unused Galactic Credits (GC) will be converted back to LU! Credits on your MyLevelUp! Account / Level Up! Play account. This includes all unused GC in all RF characters present in your account.

b.      Please note that 5 GC is equal to 1 LU! Credit.

II.                  What is Cabal Online’s Welcome Package?

a.       The Cabal Online Welcome Package is for players who would like to continue their journey in the world of sci-fi action through the sci-fi MMORPG Cabal Online.

b.      From June 11, 2013 to June 25, 2013, RF Players may tag their RF accounts to their Cabal characters via our RF Migration Page This will enable players to claim their Welcome Package in Cabal Online.

                                                               i.       For Players without Cabal Online accounts:

1.       Register for a new Cabal Online account via Level Up! Play https://play.levelupgames.ph/

2.       Log-in to Cabal Online, create a character and select a server.

3.       Go to the RF Migration site on June 11 and enter the information needed.

                                                             ii.      For players with Cabal Online accounts:

1.       Make sure you have an existing character in Cabal Online.

2.       Got to the RF Migration site on June 11 and enter the information needed and enter the information needed.

c.       Please note that all information entered is considered final, so please be careful in filling up the form.

d.      Deadline for account tagging is on June 25, 2013 11:59PM

e.      You may claim for Cabal Online Welcome Package by checking your Cabal character’s cash inventory on July 2, 2013. Below are the contents of the Welcome Package:

III.                What is Ran  Online’s Welcome Package?

a.       The Ran Online Welcome Package is for players who would like to continue their journey in the countries’ first campus-themed MMORPG.

b.      From June 11, 2013 to June 25, 2013, RF Players may tag their RF accounts to their Ran characters via our RF Migration Page This will enable players to claim their Welcome Package in Ran Online.

                                                               i.       For Players without Ran Online accounts:

1.       Register for a new Ran Online account via Level Up! Play https://play.levelupgames.ph/

2.       Log-in to Ran Online, create a character and select a server.

3.        Go to the RF Migration site on June 11 and enter the information needed. Make sure you select a character class for your welcome package.

                                                             ii.      For players with Ran Online accounts:

1.       Make sure you have an existing character and server in Ran Online.

2.       Got to RF Migration page on June 11 and enter the information needed. . Make sure you select a character class for your welcome package.

c.       Please note that all information entered is considered final, so please be careful in filling up the form.

d.      Deadline for account tagging is on June 25, 2013 11:59PM

e.      You may claim for Ran Online Welcome Package by checking your Ran character’s item bank on July 2, 2013. Below are the contents of the Welcome Package:

•  Level 150 Character of Choice (except Extreme Class) with +7 Weapon and Armor Set
• 7pcs. Quad Power Rosary
• 14pcs. Tera Bracelet
• 30D Wrath of the Dragon Costume Box
• 30D Free Wing Scooter
• 10 Power UP Max Gift Box
• 1-10 Spiritual Spheres

IV.                Customer Support Concerns

a.       Effective June 25, 2013, all RF Online support requests will no longer be processed. These include (but are not limited to):

b.      All questions concerning the credit returns and bonus package will be entertained until July 31, 2013.
