BlizzCon: Sign up for WoW Annual Pass, Get "Diablo III" for Free

Blizzard co-founder and president Mike Morhaime announced some great news for those awaiting Diablo III during the BlizzCon opening ceremonies. If you commit to a World of Warcraft Annual Pass, you'll get a free digital copy of Diablo III upon release.

The Annual Pass, which itself was announced at the opening ceremonies, is now available on the WoW website, and is basically the equivalent of committing to a one-year subscription that can be billed monthly. Users who do so will also get a Tyrael's Charger mount, and guaranteed access to the beta of the next expansion, Mists of Pandaria. 

As of right now there's still no release date for Diablo III, but rest assured now that you have a way of obtaining it for free!
