Blade and Soul: No Grind, Different Storyline for Each Server

Aion's always complained by players about its repetitive quests and heavy grind. What about Blade & Soul? Bae Jae Hyun promises that Blade & Soul isn't that kind of game that asks you to kill 10 monsters and then 15 another kind of monsters, instead, there will be lots of stories from the very beginning. Besides, he mentions that different servers and continents will enjoy different scenarios. Well, that's a nice idea.

Blade and Soul: What Makes It Stand Out

The game Blade & Soul had gained worldwide praise when it was unveilled by NCsoft 3 months ago. Recently NCsoft releases a new record for players, and schedules to launch it in 2009.

What makes Blade and Soul stand out from other games in its genre is its unique art style and its combat focus. Many MMORPGs have a medieval style, and focus heavily on Norse-type mythologies; dwarfs, elves, fairies, swords and sorcery, etc.

Blade and Soul models it's characters from artwork by renowned Korean manhwa artist Hyung-tae Kim, whose Asian flair is prominent throughout his work. Blade and Soul, embracing this flair, focuses on Asian martial-arts and fantasy instead of European, making for pleasantly unique and exciting visuals.
