Tera Online on CBT

Tera: The Exiled Realm of Arborea is one of the new MMORPGs that would soon be released, as it is still in beta testing at present. The game houses seven races and eight classes. The game's serveres would be located in North America and Europe, but the good thing is both servers would not have IP-block. Stated below is a brief over view of Tera Online from steparu.com. More details to follow in the next posts :)

Tera Online is a very user-friendly game. For instance, targeting monsters may look complicated but in fact it's really easy to pick up, especially for players who have only played point and click MMORPG's. It's pretty easy to level up and you will most likely never run out of quests. Tera Online can get very addicting due to it's new direction of combat and non-targeting system. The storyline missions can prove to be challenging on occasion but at the same time it isn't so hard to finish like the end game dungeon. Most of the monsters and areas that you will come across have their own unique feel. Having played a lot of titles, I've yet to stumble across similar monsters or areas in other games.

It is Too Early to Say TERA is Successful

After a silent week, South Korean media have recently expressed their point of view that TERA is now stable but it's still too early to say the game is successful.

In the opinion of South Korean media, TERA saw the number of its simultaneous online players, which kept at 170,000 after Aion 2.5 was updated, slightly drop as its first batch of monthly subscriptions expired on Feb. 24. Though TERA successfully proved its capability of standing longer than one month, problems like the class imbalance and endlessly repeated quests are still criticized bitterly by players.

Terror in TERA

Many Korean TERA Players Quit Because of Overflowing Illegal Programs

Since TERA's OBT in January, the cheating programs have always been one of the major problems both players and media lash out at. Last February 10, the official company banned 3,331 accounts at a time, seeming to crack down on the cheating deeds. Nevertheless, the number of players who use the third-party software increased after 12 days. While overseas players still hold out hope for TERA, lots of Korean players have chosen to quit the game.

TERA Okay for Medium-end PC

The MMORPG TERA, which is published by Korea-based NHN, has extremely dazzling and exquisite graphics. It was once reported that TERA was the best MMO in terms of graphics (TERA Ranked No. 1 in Graphics). However, we can see from TERA's official site that its PC system requirements are not high.
